Nechama Liss-Levinson

Nechama Liss-Levinson, Ph.D. loved watching people and their families as a child, so it’s not surprising she grew up to be a psychologist and an author. Nechama’s clinical practice and writing have focused on developmental milestones in the Jewish family and she has taught, written, blogged, and presented on issues concerning birth, death, and the complicated stuff that happens in the middle.  She has presented at Limmud NY, UJA Federation Young Leadership Conference, the American Psychological Association and the 92nd Street Y in NYC.  Her books include When a Grandparent Dies and When the Hurricane Came, both about coping with the tough times.
