Leora Mallach is the co-founder and director of Ganei Beantown (Beantown Jewish Gardens), a Boston area nonprofit organization building community through experiential food system education rooted in Jewish text, tradition, and culture. Reminding our community of the connections within Judaism to agricultural cycles facilitates a deeper understanding of what sustains us, and engages us in the question of how to feed ourselves and the world in a just and sustainable manner. A long-time experiential educator and wilderness trip leader, she is excited to be creating new educational paradigms.
