Ann Zerlin Streiffer is a native New Orleanian who attended Kennedy High, Touro Nursing School, and UNO, and completed Gerontological Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Colorado. Over the years, her nursing practice included surgical nursing, human resources, nursing home administration, and camp nursing at Henry S. Jacobs Camp. Ann and her husband Rick grew up at Gates of Prayer where they met through youth group. And the rest is history! Married “a long time,” they have three grown children, three kids-in-law, and seven grandkids. As members of “retail business” families, they explored having their own business over the years, until opening Blue Frog Chocolates on Magazine Street in 2000, which Ann manages. Over these 16 years, Blue Frog Chocolates has become “New Orleans’ Favorite Chocolate Shop.”
